2009 Womenʼs Retreat Fundraiser on Rally Day, Sunday, September 7th.
To All Women of Grace Lutheran Church: We would like to beginning planning our 2009 Womenʼs Retreat. We need to raise some funds for scholarships, materials and for a speaker. We are asking for your help to start our Women Retreat Event Fundraiser. We are planning a Bake Sale Fundraiser on Rally Day, Sunday, September 7th.
Donate your familiesʼ favorite cake, or cookies! Please donate a pie, a cake, some cookies, or a loaf of homemade bread, any delicious treat for Sunday, September 7th to support the 2009 Womenʼs Retreat. You may drop off your treat Saturday, September 6th in the kitchen at the church or simply bring it with you to church on Sunday. Please make a note if the bakery item has nuts. Thank you for you donation!

Grace Women's Circles--Faith, Grace and Naomi--offer small group experiences for bible study, friendship, discussion and support. Each meets on a monthly basis--see the church calendar for dates, times and locations.
Faith Circle - Faith Circle is a group of women which meets at 7 p.m., the third Monday of the month in the Church Parlor. We enjoy fellowship and snacks the first hour, then have an informal Bible study the second hour. For information, call Marylee Steinwehe at 815-338-7323.
Grace Baby Shower overflows!
Thanks to all who participated in and donated to the Grace Baby Shower. The response was great and 115 layettes were taken to the McHenry County Health Department for distribution to families in need. Naomi Circle sponsors the Baby Shower.
The Sewing Circle meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 9:00 a.m. to lovingly craft quilts, lap blankes and other items to send to refugees around the world through Lutheran World Relief, and to donate to local nursing homes.
