The Spirituality mission is to provide Spiritual growth and minister to the grieving, promote healing, and encourage servant hood all in the name of Sharing God’s Grace.

Come Pray With Us

Spirituality Team would like to invite you to come pray with us during the Prayer Vigil, which will be held on Good Friday, April 2, from 8 AM until 8 PM in the parlor at church.  Look for the sign-up poster to make sure all our time slots are covered, but there can be many more than one person praying at one time.  The congregation will have the opportunity to fill out the purple prayer request forms starting in March until Good Friday and place them in the basket by the poster, or put in the offering plates during services.  These requests will be made available for everyone to pray for during the vigil.  There will also be art supplies available in the parlor for other expressions of prayer.  The Prayer Vigil is open to all ages.  This would be a wonderful way to end our Lenten season.  Won’t you please consider spending some time in prayer at Grace?

Healing Service

Services of healing will be offered on the weekend of December 5th & 6th.  Laying on of hands and anointing with oil will be offered as a part of all regularly scheduled services on this weekend.  All are welcome to come up for this blessing.  It is for healing of body, mind and spirit.  Please join us.

Homebound Care

Tape Ministry: Members of the Spirituality Team coordinate with members of the congregation to provide our homebound members with taped services.  Tape recordings of the Sunday service are made and copied.  Homebound members receive the tapes weekly from different church members.  Couriers typically deliver to one homebound member once a month.

Home Communion:  Members of the congregation deliver communion once a month to our homebound members.

Gift Baskets:  Members of the Spirituality Team coordinate compile and deliver gift baskets to our homebound members at Christmas and Easter.

Friends in Prayer:  The Spirituality Team encourages members of the congregation to sign up to receive prayer requests through e-mail.

“I pray that, according to the riches of His glory, He may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through His Spirit.”
